The application process for SG Citizenship is complex, lengthy, and highly-scrutinized
Singapore is a favored destination for individuals looking for a stable future and excellent chances to realize their dreams. For those who wish to permanently settle in Singapore with their families, applying for Permanent Residency (PR) is the ideal choice. However, Singapore’s PR application process and its multiple requirements can be complex for individuals with less visa knowledge.
Over 100,000 foreigners apply for Singapore’s PR with the desire to become Singapore a home, each year. However, with an average approval quota of only 34,500 for the PR applicants, the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), obtaining the coveted PR status gets more competitive. Therefore, ICA evaluates each PR application critically and carefully selects each candidate who is suitable to become a Singapore citizen.
Nextstop Immigrations offers personalized case management, highlighting strengths and ensuring applications meet ICA requirements for competitiveness and effectiveness.
When our clients' applications are approved, they have 2 months to complete all three components of the Singapore Citizenship Journey (SCJ). The SCJ’s 03 components are, E-Journey, Singapore Experiential Tour, and Community Sharing Session. After completing the citizenship formalities, they will receive their pink National Registration Identity Cards (NRICs) and other related citizenship certificates.
We assist with the Singapore citizenship application process, evaluating eligibility, guiding through form completion, and supporting you until you receive your In-Principle Approval Letter (IPA).

Singapore Passport & Visa Flexibility
Being a Singaporean citizen helps you obtain a Singapore passport. Due to strong ties with other countries, this passport offers visa-free travel to countries like Canada, Europe, Australia, and the United States. This passport helps you save time and energy by saving you from running from embassy to embassy to apply for any traveling pass.
Access To Health Subsidies
In comparison to foreigners and PRs, Singapore citizens are entitled to more government subsidies for public hospitals, national care centers, and Policlinics. Additionally, needy Singaporean citizens are also entitled to additional health subsidies and funding options for medical expenses.
Educational Priorities and Subsidies
Being a citizen, your child will be entitled to the government's initiative Edusave Scheme. This scheme rewards outstanding children (who do well in their academic or non-academic activities) by paying their 2nd-tier miscellaneous fees. Children of Singapore citizens have to pay the lowest fees in public educational institutes and are entitled to more subsidies for private and tertiary education. For more education-related information, you can visit the Ministry of Education's website at www.comment.sg/admissions/international-students/general-info
Government Pension Benefits
Another benefit of the Singapore Citizenship is the Central Provident Fund (CPF) scheme. In this scheme, Singaporean citizens or PR employee and their employer contribute a minimum amount monthly to the employee's pension fund. The CPF scheme helps an employee financially, in regard to home ownership, payment of medical bills, children's education, or in any family crises. They can also use the funds for the growth of assets through investment etc. CPF can also contribute to the form of tax relief, generating more income per year. If an individual has been holding a PR for more than 02 years, the employee's CPF contribution is the same as a Singapore citizen. For more information, please visit: www.cpf.gov.sg/members
