Long-Term Visit Pass & Dependent’s Pass

If you hold an S Pass or EP, you can relocate your family to Singapore

 

The S Pass or Employment Pass holders can easily relocate your family to Singapore.

For relocation purposes, their family members must have a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP).

With this pass, you can take your,

1. Common Law Spouse

2. Stepchildren

3. Handicapped Children to the Lion City

Singapore is a popular pathway for people seeking a secure future and outstanding opportunities to live, work, and study. However, foreigners may face limitations when moving their family to Singapore with them.

Fortunately, with the Long-Term Visit Pass, Singapore allows your family members to take residence in the city for as long as they want. For this purpose, they must have a relative who has a valid S Pass or Employment Pass in Singapore. The LTVP is also issued to foreigners who wish to stay in Singapore for more than 30 days.

Eligible Types
Dependent's Pass

If a foreigner with a Work Pass wants to relocate their family (Spouse or Child) to Singapore, they can apply for a Dependent's Pass issued by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

Long-Term Visit Pass

There may be some family members of foreign expats who don't qualify for the Dependant's Pass. They would need a long-term visit pass in Singapore.​​

​1. Non-legal spouse
2. Unmarried step-child (under 21)
3. Unmarried handicapped child (under 21)

​4. Parents

A foreigner is only eligible to apply LTVP for the above if they

1. Have any of the following: Employment Pass (EP), S Pass, Personalised Employment Pass (PEP), EntrePass
2. Have a fixed monthly income of S$6000. Sponsoring parents, at least S$12000.
3. Are sponsored by a Singapore-based and registered company.

Application process of DP/LTVP with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) for S Pass/PEP/EP/ONE Pass Holders

Step 1: Your employer or the employment agency (EA) will have to submit a filled-out form on the my MOM portal.

Step 2: Your family members will have to go to Singapore and make sure they have compiled all the required documents and are done with the travel vaccinations.

Step 3: Your employer or EA will have to issue the pass for each member of your family

 

Step 4: Each family member will have to register fingerprints and have their photo taken.

Step 5: Finally, the family members will receive LTVP cards.
